We rely on our community to strengthen Ready, Willing & Able (RWA) through resources and relationships. The more we are so generously given, the more we can help. Together we can achieve lasting change in Philadelphia's perception and treatment of homeless and formerly incarcerated individuals.

The challenge:
In Philadelphia, drug overdose has been the leading cause of death among people experiencing homelessness since at least 2011, comprising 56% of deaths in 2015. (Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office)

Our solution:
Recovery is our primary purpose. Having a permanent home doesn't protect one from substance use disorder, but living in recovery makes getting and keeping a permanent home setting more likely.
